What to expect
Our Process begins when you book an initial design consultation. In this hour long meeting at your home, we’ll discuss your needs and goals for the space, review inspiration images, and take measurements.
Within 1-2 weeks we’ll provide you with a mini design plan and an estimate of your project costs, scope, and timeline. Since we specialize in both design and custom build-outs, you’ll see our costs separated between the design fee and the remodeling expenses.
The next step in the process is creating the detailed design and project plan. We create gorgeous, photo-realistic 3D renderings of your future space, detailed floorplans, and finishes selection. This is a collaborative process in which our clients may review and request changes until the plan is perfect for them. We charge a design fee which varies based upon the complexity of the project, typically 10% of the estimated project costs. Once the design plan is finalized, you will receive an itemized list of all materials and fixtures, detailed plans for electrical/plumbing/framing contractors, and a quote for the Haventry custom cabinetry and millwork featured in your design.

You are ready to begin the remodeling phase of the project. We are happy to provide a list of highly recommended sub contractors and tradespeople to begin the work outlined in your design plan. If you need additional project management services, we offer that for an additional fee. While you are always welcome to source your cabinetry elsewhere, when you choose Haventry for your custom cabinetry and millwork, we discount our construction and install costs by the amount charged for the design fee.
Because we hand craft our cabinetry made to order, we don’t have the extensive lead times of other cabinetry providers. Once you have secured your spot on our schedule, we will build and install within your remodel timeline.
